Lady Living In Japan Shocked After Finding Out It’s Possible To Rent Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Wife And Husband In Japan 

A woman living in Japan has drawn attention online after sharing details about a profession she found particularly unusual after relocating to the country, renting a boyfriend, girlfriend, wife and husband.

Speaking directly to the camera, she explained that in Japan, there exists a recognized service where people can hire a “rental boyfriend” or “rental girlfriend” for specific occasions, ranging from weddings and parties to family gatherings and other formal events where having a partner present might otherwise be expected.

According to her, the profession isn’t some underground arrangement but one that operates with clear ethical guidelines behind it.

She described the discovery as one of the more surprising cultural differences she encountered since moving to Japan, a country known for its unique blend of tradition and modern social solutions to everyday pressures, including the social expectation of showing up to events with a partner.
