Woman Captured On CCTV Stealing GH¢70,000 From Accra Shop

A shop owner at Okiashie Kwehu Lane in Accra is appealing to the public for help after GH¢70,000 was reportedly stolen from her shop.

According to the shop owner, CCTV footage from the premises captured a woman believed to be connected to the incident. The footage is being circulated in the hope that members of the public may recognise her and provide information that could assist with the investigation.

The owner has urged anyone who knows the woman or has information about the whereabouts of the missing money to come forward.

Information can be shared through 027 767 5338 or reported directly to the Ghana Police Service.

The shop owner is also appealing to social media users to share the footage and details widely to increase the chances of identifying the suspect and recovering the money.

It is not yet clear when the alleged theft occurred, how the money was taken or whether the suspect acted alone.

The woman’s identity has not been officially confirmed, and the allegations remain subject to police investigation.
