Watch Moment Fans Stood Under Heavy Downpour To Watch Shatta Wale Perform From Start To Finish At Nkrumah Fest 

Thousands of fans have been spotted standing their ground in pouring rain at Nkroful to catch Shatta Wale’s performance at NkrumahFest 2026, refusing to let the weather cut short a night many had clearly been looking forward to.

Footage from the event shows the dancehall artist commanding the stage with arms outstretched, soaked from head to toe as yellow stage lights cut through the falling rain behind him.

Below and around the stage, the crowd stretched as far as the eye could see, packed shoulder to shoulder and undeterred by the downpour, many with phones raised to capture the moment despite the weather working against them.

Security personnel could be seen stationed around the stage’s edge, keeping watch over the massive turnout as Shatta Wale fed off the crowd’s energy, moving confidently across the platform despite the slick, rain-soaked surface beneath him.

Neither performer nor audience seemed willing to let the conditions dampen the night, with fans cheering, singing along, and holding their positions long after the rain had clearly settled in for good.

By the time the set wrapped up, what could have easily emptied out an outdoor crowd instead turned into one of the standout moments of the festival, proof that for many at Nkroful that night, a little rain was never going to be enough to send them home early.
