‘This is how I lost everything, I'm so tired’ — Business owner laments after being evicted by landlords twice
A business owner has shared her frustration online after allegedly being forced to relocate twice by landlords despite spending millions of naira on her business.
In a video, the woman claimed she invested heavily in renovating a rented space, only for her landlord to serve her a quit notice out of nowhere.
According to her, the landlord initially said the property was needed for personal use but later rented it out to another tenant operating a similar business.
After downsizing and moving to a new location, she said she was again served a quit notice, this time because the landlord allegedly planned to demolish the building.
Expressing her exhaustion, the business owner said she feels like she is losing everything she has worked for.
