“The best time for a lady to be married is from 22 till 27″— Benedicta Onwuka
A relationship therapist, Benedicta Onwuka, has ignited a fierce debate across social media platforms following a viral video in which she claimed that women over the age of 27 are “toxic,” “full of rage,” and unsuitable for younger men starting out in life.
The commentator, whose video has been widely shared and debated online, explicitly warned men against marrying women aged 28 and above, asserting that past relationship traumas render them incapable of sustaining healthy marriages.
“Used and Dumped”
In the footage, the therapist strictly demarcated what she considers the prime age for women to marry, placing it between 22 and 27 years old. Beyond this window, she claimed, women carry too much emotional baggage.
“Honestly, after 27, me I cannot even vouch for that kind of lady again,” the therapist said in the video.
“Most of these advanced ladies—do your worst, I call them advanced—yes, they are full of bitter experiences. They are full of negative experiences. Most of them have been used and dumped by other men.”
She further argued that these women project their past hurts onto new partners, making it impossible for them to recognize men with genuine intentions.
According to her analysis, older women become inherently “toxic” individuals who treat new partners the way they were treated in the past.
Warning to Younger Men
The therapist directed a specific warning toward young men who might be attracted to financially independent, older women.
She cautioned that choosing a partner based on her financial stability or successful career is a trap that leads to a “very difficult marriage.”
“Marrying a lady age 28 and above, if you don’t even take time, 28 is safe, a little safe. 30 and above will be difficult. These ladies are angry. Most of them are angry. That is the simple truth.”
As a solution, the therapist recommended that women aged 30 and above should only date “advanced men” aged 40 and older who have their own emotional baggage, suggesting they “pair up together and heal themselves together.”
The therapist concluded her viral segment with a provocative challenge to her audience: “Are you ready to handle a toxic individual?“—a question that continues to fuel intense arguments across comment sections worldwide.
