Nigerian actress and reality TV star Caroline Danjuma has opened up about a painful personal experience, alleging that a woman she once publicly defended was secretly involved with her former partner during their relationship.

Speaking during an interview with Tayemesan, Danjuma claimed she only later discovered that the woman had allegedly been romantically involved with the man she was dating at the time, a situation she said ultimately contributed to the end of the relationship.

According to the actress, she had previously spoken in the woman’s defence on national television, unaware of what she now believes was happening behind the scenes.

Danjuma further alleged that despite the alleged affair, the woman continued to maintain a friendly relationship with her, regularly interacting with her on social media and presenting herself as supportive.

She said the woman would engage with her online posts, check up on her and publicly portray herself as someone with good intentions, while allegedly concealing the relationship with her partner.

Expressing her disappointment, Danjuma accused the woman of pretending to be a friend while secretly betraying her trust.

“Funny how I pretend I am stupid, but I know the girl I defended on national TV was sleeping with my man while I was with him. He’s now my ex. She was in clubs with her American friends, twerking on him.

“I act like I don’t see it, but I see it all. Posting his cars and all. Now I know why your baby daddy didn’t choose you. You are dirt. You sleep with your friend’s man.

“You will pretend like you like us, but you sleep with your friend’s man. Yet you post pictures like you are good. Girl, you are dirt.

“She will like your page and show you fake love, checking up on you. Yeah, I am a lover, but I respect people’s relationships,” she said.

The actress did not reveal the identity of the woman or her former partner, and the allegations have not been independently verified. As of the time of filing this report, no one mentioned in her remarks has publicly responded to the claims.
