One Injured After VIP Bus, Military Vehicle Involved In Four-Vehicle Crash On Ofankor–Pokuase Stretch

One person has reportedly sustained serious injuries after four vehicles, including a VIP bus and a military vehicle, were involved in a road crash on the Ofankor–Pokuase stretch in the Greater Accra Region.

According to reports, the collision involved multiple vehicles, causing significant disruption on the busy highway.

The injured person was reportedly attended to following the incident, while details about the condition of the other passengers and drivers involved remain unclear.

The accident comes just days after another fatal crash on the same stretch reportedly claimed the lives of 12 people, raising renewed concerns about road safety along the route.

The Ofankor–Pokuase highway has witnessed several accidents in recent times, with motorists and road users often calling for increased safety measures, improved driver discipline, and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations.
