Ghanaian Teacher Cries On Camera As Shatta Wale’s Fans Steals Her GH¢700 Salary At Ho Market
A teacher has reportedly lost GH¢700 of her salary after her purse was stolen when a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of dancehall musician Shatta Wale at Ho Market.
According to the teacher, she had withdrawn her GH¢1,000 salary from the bank and headed to the market to buy meat.
She said she took GH¢300 from the money to make the purchase and kept the remaining GH¢700 in her purse.
However, her trip to the market reportedly took an unfortunate turn when Shatta Wale arrived at the area, attracting a large crowd of excited fans who rushed to see the musician.
The teacher said she was caught up in the crowd as people pushed and struggled to get a closer look at the artiste.
In the process, her purse containing the remaining GH¢700 was allegedly taken.
“I’m a teacher, and I went to the bank to withdraw my GH¢1,000 salary. I took GH¢300 out of it to buy meat at the market, but the crowd pushed me, and someone stole my purse containing the remaining GH¢700,” she lamented.
Her story has since sparked reactions online, with some social media users expressing sympathy for the teacher over losing a significant portion of her salary in the chaotic scene.
