Double Tragedy: Hours After Announcing Mother’s Death, Man Dies in Tragic Car Crash

A writer identified as Daud Gambo has reportedly died in a road crash just hours after announcing the death of his mother.

Gambo died in the crash on Sunday, September 20, 2026, while travelling to Kano State to attend his mother’s funeral prayer.

Before starting the journey, Gambo had announced his mother’s death in a post on Facebook.

However, hours later, he was involved in a road crash and also lost his life.

The incident has left friends, family members and other members of the writing community mourning the tragic loss.
