According to a report by Sahara Reporters on Thursday, June 25, 2026, Aliyu Hassan, a resident of Katsina State, has recounted that he was on his farm when the bandits attacked. He said when he tried to run, the bandits chased him, and if he had tried to escape, they would have shot him, so he stopped.
In his words, “When I tried to run, they chased me. If I had tried to escape, they would have shot me, so I stopped.”
Recounting the incident, Hassan said he did not notice when the bandits came. He said the bandits stood with him on his farm and demanded money and his phone, but he told them he did not have any. Hassan claimed the attackers told him that his father had money and that he should take them to their house.......>>
