Benedicta Gafah Releases Her Private Chats With Obinim, Exposes Him Amid Ongoing Brouhaha 

Kumawood actress Benedicta Gafah has escalated a public spat with founder of International God’s Way Church, Angel Obinim, by releasing private WhatsApp conversations that appear to show the man of God pleading for her forgiveness following a disagreement.

The leak comes after Obinim publicly claimed he had blocked Gafah for disrespecting his wife, a claim the actress flatly denied, insisting it was she who had blocked him after he attempted to contact her.

“Standing on a platform and confidently claiming that you blocked me, when the reality is that I blocked you because you tried to contact me and I chose not to engage, is simply dishonest,” Gafah stated, adding that she questioned why her name was raised at all.

She warned that continued provocation might compel her to release private communications, saying she had “consistently stayed in her lane” and chosen silence over drama. True to her word, she subsequently published screenshots of the chat.

In the leaked messages, Obinim is seen attempting multiple voice calls, all missed before sending a series of texts urging the actress to calm down. In a lengthy message, he wrote: “Afia please come down okay. I have no intention of disrespecting you in anyway. I had no idea about that interview so don’t blame me or put me in this situation. I will do my best and make sure she doesn’t mention your name anywhere again. I’m sorry if you are hurt or annoyed please forgive me. I don’t want any issues in Ghana here again, I have suffered enough please.”

Obinim has not publicly responded to the release of the chats.
