Woman Reveals How First Love Landed Her in Hospital

A woman has gone viral after sharing a painful story about how her first romantic relationship allegedly left her hospitalized.

Posting throwback photos from her hospital bed, she recounted how she gave her then-boyfriend all the money she had been saving for her education after he told her he was struggling financially and had not eaten.

According to her, the young man was already in school at the time, while she was still preparing to gain admission through JAMB. Out of love and concern, she decided to send him all the money she had managed to save.

However, things reportedly took a heartbreaking turn shortly afterward.

She claimed that days after receiving the money, her boyfriend began ignoring her calls. He later sent her a message explaining that he needed to focus on his studies and felt overwhelmed by the level of affection she was showing him.

Recalling the moment she received the message, the woman said she was at work when she read it.

“I felt dizzy, fell, and was rushed to the hospital,” she wrote.

Hoping to make him reconsider his decision, she said she took photos of herself in the hospital and sent them to him. Despite her efforts, she claimed he never changed his mind.

Her story has since sparked reactions online, with many social media users expressing sympathy while others shared lessons about love, finances, and emotional boundaries in relationships.
