We Couldn’t Complete The Agenda 111 Hospital Because We Secretly Sold It To Certain People And Took Our Percentage — Kennedy Agyapong Drops Bomb

Former Assin Central Member of Parliament and NPP flagbearer aspirant Kennedy Agyapong has issued a stark warning to the New Patriotic Party, alleging that officials within the party were taking percentage cuts from the Agenda 111 hospital construction project and threatening to release further damaging information if provoked.

Speaking in an interview, Kennedy Agyapong claimed that NPP figures were collecting a ten percent share from the Agenda 111 project, a flagship infrastructure initiative under the previous administration aimed at constructing hospitals across Ghana and that this financial extraction was the primary reason the projects were not completed.

“The NPP was selling the Agenda 111 project to people and taking a 10% share; that is why they were unable to complete any of the projects,” he stated.

The outspoken politician, who has previously admitted that the NPP did nothing on the Afari Hospital project during its eight years in power, went further to warn that attempts to silence him would backfire.

“They think I will keep mute about what they did during the campaign. They can’t shut me down. If they joke with me, I will spill everything,” he said.

The allegations, if substantiated, would represent serious procurement and corruption violations. The NPP has not publicly responded to the claims.

Agenda 111 was announced under former President Nana Akufo-Addo with the stated goal of constructing 111 hospitals in underserved districts across Ghana. The project faced sustained criticism over delays and cost concerns throughout the NPP’s final years in government.
