Former Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has escalated his public confrontation with the New Patriotic Party, pushing back against characterisations of him as a bitter politician and reaffirming his intention to expose the party’s conduct if its members continue to antagonise him.

Responding to those within the NPP who have labelled him bitter following his defeat in the flagbearer primaries and recent comments about the Afri 38 Military Hospital, Kennedy Agyapong was defiant, warning the party to exercise caution in how it handles him.

“NPP should be careful with me for calling me a bitter person. If they dare me, I will spill the beans all over the place,” he stated.

The former MP also addressed speculation that his outspokenness is driven by resentment over his failure to secure the NPP presidential nomination, dismissing the suggestion by pointing to his personal wealth as evidence that his political ambitions were never financially motivated.

“Who said I won’t eat and survive if I don’t become president? I’m now just coming from my site,” he said, indicating that his business interests remain active and lucrative.

Kennedy Agyapong framed his continued public commentary not as bitterness but as a civic responsibility toward Ghanaian youth, stating that his concerns are directed at the welfare of the country’s young people rather than personal political gain.

The remarks represent the latest in a series of increasingly pointed statements from Kennedy Agyapong, who has already alleged that NPP officials took a ten percent cut from the Agenda 111 hospital project and admitted publicly that the party failed to deliver on key infrastructure promises during its eight years in power.
