A Huge Figure In Current NDC Gov’t Has ‘Stolen’ $55 Million Contract For My Wife And He’s Demanding 11% Commission — Kennedy Agyapong

Former Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has levelled fresh and explosive allegations against a senior figure within the ruling National Democratic Congress, claiming the individual facilitated a $55 million contract for his wife while demanding a percentage kickback before the official contract is released.

Kennedy Agyapong, without naming the NDC official, alleged that the individual brought the contract to his wife and is entitled to an 11 percent commission from the deal. However, he claimed the official is now demanding that 7 percent of that commission be paid upfront before the contract documentation is formally issued.

“A huge finger in the NDC has brought a contract worth 55 million dollars to my wife and his percentage is 11%. The person is now asking my wife to pay 7% upfront of the 11% before she receives the official contract,” Kennedy Agyapong stated during an interview with his media station NET 2 TV.

He used the alleged incident to make a broader point about political corruption in Ghana, expressing frustration at what he described as a systemic culture of deception by politicians across party lines.

“What are we doing to our country? Politicians, we are deceiving the general public,” he said, adding that international comparisons, particularly with Western nations reinforced his determination to continue speaking out.

Kennedy Agyapong vowed to remain vocal until he sees meaningful change in Ghana’s governance culture, stating that no one would silence him.

Well, the NDC has not responded to the allegations. The identity of the official referred to has also not been confirmed.
