Sowore in High Spirits Despite Detention, Legal Team Urges Nigerians to Remain Resolute

The legal team representing the detained human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has said he remains in high spirits despite his detention at the Kuje Correctional Centre, Abuja.

Speaking with journalists after visiting Sowore at the correctional facility on Tuesday, a member of his legal team Prince wyne said the activist was optimistic and undeterred by his incarceration.

According to the lawyer, Sowore asked his supporters and Nigerians to remain steadfast, expressing confidence that justice would ultimately prevail.

“We have just finished meeting with Mr. Omoyele Sowore here at the Kuje Correctional Centre alongside members of his legal team, friends and well-wishers. He has a simple message for Nigerians: remain strong and resolute.
