SHOCKING: “Wike’s Gift to Judges Sparks Firestorm! ADC Spokesman Drops Bombshell, Nigerians React Furiously”

A fresh political controversy has erupted online after the spokesperson of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, made a striking statement regarding the newly commissioned houses built for judges by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The development comes after the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, officially unveiled a housing project designed for members of Nigeria’s judiciary in Abuja. While the project was celebrated by supporters of the government, it has also triggered intense debate across social media platforms.

Reacting to the development, Bolaji Abdullahi argued that the judiciary is an institution that belongs to the Nigerian people and not to any political office holder. According to him, efforts must be made to preserve the independence of the judiciary and prevent any perception that it is being influenced by political interests.

In a statement shared on his official X account, Abdullahi expressed concern over what he described as an already existing public perception that President Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike wield significant influence within the judicial system.

“The judiciary does not belong to President Tinubu or the FCT Minister. It belongs to the people of Nigeria. Its independence must never be compromised for political gain,” he stated.

His remarks quickly gained traction online, sparking mixed reactions from Nigerians. While some users agreed with his concerns and emphasized the need to protect judicial independence, others praised the housing initiative, arguing that improving the welfare of judges should not automatically be viewed through a political lens.
