Abia Police Arrest Man Seen Assaulting Woman in Viral Video
Operatives of the Abia State Police Command have arrested a young man who was captured in a viral video physically assaulting a woman in a disturbing incident that sparked widespread outrage on social media.
The suspect was apprehended by officers of the Violent Crimes Response Unit (VCRU) following a swift investigation launched after the footage surfaced online.


The video, which circulated widely across various social media platforms, showed the man allegedly holding the woman in a chokehold, repeatedly striking her in the face, and making threats against her life.
