A fresh political storm may be brewing ahead of the 2027 presidential election as a civil society group has formally petitioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), demanding a fresh review of questions surrounding the educational credentials submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 election.

According to reports, the petition was submitted by the Center for Reform and Public Advocacy through a team of lawyers led by Kalu Agu.
