SAD! 18-year-old lady brutalised by husband was married off without her father’s consent – Activist Harrison Gwamnishu shares fresh update

Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu has revealed that Chisom, the 18-year-old lady rescued from her abusive husband at an Isolo hospital on Monday, June 22, was married off without her father’s consent.

In a follow-up update shared on social media, Gwamnishu disclosed that Chisom and her siblings were separated from their father by their late mother’s family following her demise several years ago.

According to the activist, the father had been entirely cut off from his children and had not seen or heard from them until a disturbing video of Chisom’s severe abuse went viral on Monday. Preliminary findings also indicate that Chisom was just 15 years old when the relationship with the suspect began.......>>
