Parents Rush With Their Kids To MrBeats’ Newly Constructed School As Admission Opens With ‘Crazy’ Incentives 

A school in Abna Dakwa has seen a sharp rise in enrollment after parents began bringing their children to take advantage of a new education initiative backed by MrBeast’s Beast Philanthropy, which includes free school meals for students over the next five years.

The program forms part of a broader partnership between Beast Philanthropy and The Rockefeller Foundation, aimed at providing consistent, nutritious meals to roughly 4,000 children across ten schools serving nine communities in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

Meals are sourced directly from local farmers using regenerative agricultural practices, an approach designed to support both the children’s nutrition and the livelihoods of farmers supplying the food.

In the footage, families can be seen arriving at the school with their children in tow, some visibly curious about the new opportunity now available to them.

For many parents in the area, where school absenteeism has historically spiked during cocoa harvest season as children are pulled to help on farms, free daily meals offer a meaningful incentive to keep their kids in the classroom instead.

Beyond meals, the wider initiative has also brought renovated classrooms, teacher housing, and clean water access to communities in the region, with organizers describing the approach as more sustainable than a single-issue fix.
