Man Nearly Drowns After Jumping Into Pool To Impress Crowd At Night Party

A man nearly lost his life at a night pool party after jumping into a swimming pool in an apparent bid to impress onlookers, only to find himself in serious difficulty when it became clear he could not swim.

Video footage of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media, captures two dramatic moments, the man mid-air as he dives headfirst into the glowing green pool to the apparent excitement of the crowd, and seconds later, thrashing frantically in the water as he struggled to stay afloat.

The caption accompanying the clip read: “POV you try to show out at the pool party but forget you can’t swim.”

According to the footage, other swimmers in the pool moved toward the distressed man as he flailed in the water. It remains unclear from the video whether he was pulled out by fellow partygoers or managed to reach the pool’s edge independently. No casualties were reported in connection with the incident.
