Man Finishes More Than Two Pounds of Honey in 60 Seconds, Sets New World Record

Honey is loved by millions of people around the world, but eating more than two pounds of it in less than one minute is a challenge few people could handle.

Unlike water or other drinks, honey is thick and sticky, making it difficult to consume quickly. Its texture makes swallowing large amounts a real test.

Andre Ortolf, a German man known for attempting unusual food and drinking challenges, recently tried to break the world record for the most honey eaten in one minute.

The challenge took place in Augsburg, Germany, where Ortolf managed to consume 1,273 grams of honey, equal to about 44.91 ounces, within just 60 seconds.

A video of the record attempt has gone viral online. It shows Ortolf using a large spoon to scoop honey from a container and eating at an extremely fast pace.

The achievement highlights his speed, focus, and experience with extreme eating challenges. For most people, attempting to consume that much honey in such a short time would likely be nearly impossible.
