The spokesperson of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Habeeb Saleh Mohammed, has revealed that the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kano represents thuggery.

He made the comments on Friday during an interview on Arise TV, where he also accused the ruling party of being disconnected from the realities facing Nigerians, especially the poor.

According to him, the Kwankwasiyya ideology exists to stand against such practices.

“What APC represents in Kano state is that they simply represent thuggery. They represent most of so many things that are directly in harm’s way to the masses, to people that are downtrodden, which our ideology seeks to protest,” he said.

He also extended his criticism to the national level.

According to him, the policies of the APC-led federal government do not reflect proper planning or consideration for citizens’ welfare.

“Even at the national level, we can see from the policies rolled out by APC, the commander-in-chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, does not have an inch of feeling as to what happens when he rolls out policies,” he added.

He further alleged that the government introduces policies without proper assessment of their impact on Nigerians.

“They have never had an opportunity to do what is called policy risk assessment,” he said.
