I Didn’t Try to Defame You, Prophecy Was Misunderstood – Primate Ayodele Tells Kwankwaso

Kwankwaso had reportedly taken exception to a prophecy issued by the cleric several weeks ago, in which Ayodele claimed that the former governor could eventually betray former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, in any future political alliance or presidential project. The statement sparked controversy, with Kwankwaso alleging that the prophecy amounted to defamation.

Responding to the accusation, Primate Ayodele, through a statement issued by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, clarified that his remarks were not motivated by personal feelings or political interests. He stressed that his prophecies are based solely on what he believes to be divine revelations and should not be interpreted as attacks on individuals.

According to the cleric, he has no personal relationship or history with Kwankwaso that could justify any deliberate attempt to tarnish the politician’s image.
