Florence Obinim’s Unreleased Mahama Campaign Song Finally Leaks Online, Goes Viral

The campaign song that Florence Obinim revealed she composed for President John Mahama ahead of the 2024 general election but was prevented from releasing by her husband has surfaced online and is currently trending on social media.

Florence had disclosed earlier that a senior NDC figure commissioned the track, covered all production costs, and promised her a significant financial reward but that Bishop Daniel Obinim listened to the finished recording and instructed her not to release it.

The song has now found its way into the public domain through undisclosed means, generating widespread reactions online as listeners encounter for the first time the composition Florence described as a spiritually inspired work recorded after three days of prayer.

The leak adds a fresh dimension to what has already been a turbulent week for the Obinims, marked by Florence’s candid remarks about marriage strain, her readiness to accept a breakup, and her disclosure of the commissioned but shelved political project.

The circumstances under which the song was leaked have not been confirmed, and it remains unclear whether its emergence online was deliberate or accidental.

Neither Florence Obinim, Bishop Obinim, nor the NDC have issued statements regarding the leaked recording at the time of publication.
