He explained that he repeatedly emailed Fashola, hoping to demonstrate his interest in public service and create an opportunity to engage with the former governor.
According to the Lagos State lawmaker, his persistence eventually caught Fashola’s attention, leading to a memorable encounter at the Lagos Continental Hotel. Elliot said the former governor acknowledged receiving the numerous emails, a response he interpreted as a polite way of asking him to ease up.
