Even If Fubara Goes To The ADC Today Or Any Other Political Party, It Won’t Make Any Meaning -Ewor

According to a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Arise News on Thursday, July 23, 2026, Rivers State elder statesman, Dr. Robinson Ewor, has said that Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s decision to join the Rainbow Coalition remains the best political option available to him, despite the possibility of joining another political party.

Speaking during an interview on The Morning Show, Ewor explained that the political movement, led by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, had become a significant force in Rivers State politics. He argued that Fubara’s political influence would not be restored simply by moving to another platform.

According to him, the governor’s return to Wike’s political family was a necessary political decision, particularly given the current political realities in the state and the strength of the coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ewor further suggested that Fubara’s political future would be better secured by aligning with the coalition rather than seeking refuge in another political party. He maintained that the political structure had already gained considerable influence among the people of Rivers State.

Speaking on Fubara’s options, Dr. Ewor said, “Even if Fubara goes to the ADC today or any other political party, it won’t make any meaning.”
