“Don’t Destroy Your Father’s Legacy”-Kwaku Manu Warns Kantanka Family

Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has urged the children of the late industrialist and philanthropist Kwadwo Safo Kantanka to resolve their differences and protect the legacy their father built over the years.

Speaking about the ongoing tensions involving Sarah Adwoa Safo and Nana Kwadwo Safo Jr., also known as Akofena, the actor expressed disappointment over the public disputes surrounding family matters and inheritance.

According to Kwaku Manu, many people expected the Kantanka family to handle their issues privately because of their status and influence.

“God will punish you if you tarnish your father’s image. We are still solving Daddy Lumba’s issues, so when yours came out, we thought you were all adults, you are all well established, so you would seek peace,” he said.

The actor praised the late Kwadwo Safo Kantanka for his generosity and dedication to helping others, describing him as a man who always thought about the welfare of the less privileged.

He said the founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission was known for supporting members of his fellowship and sharing resources with those in need rather than focusing on personal wealth.

“I have watched your father since I was a boy because he wasn’t selfish. He thought about the poor and the needy. He gave out money and produce to people for free,” Kwaku Manu stated.

He added that the late businessman earned respect across Ghana because of his kindness and contributions to society.

According to him, many people admired Kwadwo Safo Kantanka so much that they named their children after him despite having no family connection to him.

“People attended Kristo Asafo and continue to support the Kantanka name largely because of the goodwill your father built over the years,” he said.

Kwaku Manu also stressed that the late philanthropist left behind enough properties and assets for his children, making public confrontations unnecessary.

“Your father has so many properties, lands and farms. There’s no place in Ghana with better land that your father doesn’t own property there,” he said.

The actor concluded by urging the siblings to put aside their differences and focus on preserving the reputation of their father.

“You should be careful not to destroy the legacy your father worked so hard to build. Learn from it instead,” he added.
