Church In Ghana Submerged As Floodwaters Inundate Entire Hall Including Pulpit

A church in Ghana has been heavily flooded, with footage showing the entire interior of the facility submerged under water, including the pulpit area and seating sections normally occupied by congregants.

The video, which have circulated on social media, show chairs, both the congregation seating and what appear to be pulpit chairs scattered and partially floating across the flooded hall.

Water appears to cover the full floor of the facility from the entrance through to the stage area, where floral arrangements and decorations can still be seen standing amid the floodwater.

The extent of damage to musical instruments, sound equipment and other church property remains unclear, though the level of flooding visible in the footage raises significant concerns about losses to electronics and valuables that may have been present in the building at the time.

The specific location of the church and the circumstances leading to the flooding have not been confirmed, though the scale of the inundation suggests the facility was caught in a heavy downpour or a broader flooding event affecting the surrounding area.
