BREAKING: "Obi Has Fallen Into The Wrong Hand"

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stern warning to the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, cautioning him against placing too much trust in his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

In a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that Obi’s political judgment has been clouded by what he described as an overwhelming desire to achieve his presidential ambition.

Primate Ayodele alleged that the former Anambra State governor has failed to heed what he termed divine guidance and has consequently surrounded himself with individuals who may not have his best interests at heart.

‘Obi Has Fallen Into the Wrong Hands’

According to the cleric, Obi is unaware of the political dangers surrounding him and has already been negatively affected by decisions made in pursuit of his presidential aspiration.

He claimed that Kwankwaso is not genuinely committed to advancing Obi’s political project and warned that the former Kano State governor could ultimately abandon him when it matters most.

“Peter Obi doesn’t listen to divine instructions, and because of this, he has fallen into the wrong hands for his ambition,” Ayodele stated.

“Kwankwaso isn’t ready to fight for him; he will eventually sell him out, but he doesn’t know it yet. He has already muddled Obi’s presidential ambition.”

Allegations of Self-Interest

The outspoken cleric further alleged that Kwankwaso’s political calculations are driven primarily by personal interests rather than loyalty to any political alliance.

According to him, the former governor is focused on advancing his own political future and may not remain committed to Obi’s ambitions if circumstances change.

Ayodele argued that while Obi has earned admiration from many Nigerians for his courage, discipline, and growing political influence, he still lacks the level of political maturity required to occupy the nation’s highest office.

‘I Don’t Hate Obi, But He Is Not Yet Ready’

The cleric insisted that his remarks should not be interpreted as personal hostility toward Obi, stressing that he respects the former governor’s achievements and popularity.

However, he maintained that leadership at the presidential level requires a different level of political experience and strategic awareness.

“Kwankwaso is doing everything for his personal interest and nothing more. I wish Obi’s eyes could be opened to what is happening around him, but he can’t see it,” he said.

“I don’t hate Peter Obi, I love him and his courage, but he is not yet mature for the position he is seeking.”

Warning of Future Political Fallout

Primate Ayodele further claimed that events would eventually reveal the true intentions of those surrounding Obi, including Kwankwaso.

He warned that by the time such developments become obvious, the political consequences could already have damaged Obi’s presidential prospects beyond repair.

The cleric’s comments are expected to generate reactions among supporters and political observers, especially as discussions continue over alliances, coalition-building, and political realignments ahead of future electoral contests in Nigeria.
