Representing the Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has come clean about his encouragement of Mrs. Rachel Alamo’s husband while the Orire kidnapping victims were being kept captive. Mrs. Alamo was the principal of a school that was impacted by the abduction.

Three weeks before to the victims’ rescue, the senator noted that Professor Alamo was showing signs of extreme distress and dread. He claimed to have visited him, comforted him, and promised that his wife and the other victims would come home safely.

Recalling their conversation, Buhari said he warned Alamo that his wife would be devastated if she came back to find him despondent or absent.

In his account, Alamo paid a visit to his Ogbomoso residence on the very day that the captives were set free. Around 3:30 p.m., he added, they had a conversation about the problem before Alamo departed.
