Political activist, lawyer, and former presidential candidate Professor Chris Nwaokobia has clarified his political stance ahead of future elections, stressing that his support for any political leader or administration will be based on competence, performance, and national interest rather than party loyalty. Speaking during an interview on Mic On Podcast, Nwaokobia addressed speculation about whether he could work with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
In response, he stated that while he would not work for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, he had not ruled out the possibility of working with Tinubu, saying his decision would depend on careful evaluation.
According to Nwaokobia, Nigeria’s political future should be determined by the ability of leaders to deliver effective governance, strengthen national unity, and address the country’s pressing socioeconomic challenges.
