Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has disclosed that security agencies successfully disrupted an alleged attempt by terrorists to transport arms into Kogi through a coordinated covert operation following the killing of a notorious bandit leader in the state.
Fanwo made the revelation during an interview on Channels Television, on Tuesday, 23 June, 2026, while reacting to the recent retaliatory attacks launched by remnants of the terrorist group.
