Christian Joe has recounted the terrifying moment he attempted to escape from his kidnappers, only to be pursued, captured, and subjected to a brutal beating that left him with life-threatening injuries.
According to an interview aired on Arise News, Christian shared details of his ordeal while reflecting on his time in captivity and the desperate measures he took in an effort to regain his freedom.
He explained that on the third day of his captivity, an opportunity appeared to present itself when some of the kidnappers left their camp to attend to another victim whose family had successfully arranged a ransom payment. With fewer captors remaining behind, Christian decided to take a chance.
