Joe Igbokwe, an APC chieftain, has stated that reports claiming he was beaten up at Ladipo market in Lagos on June 5, 2026, are not true.
He stated that although some traders there taunted him, no one attacked him physically
In a video Igbokwe shared on Facebook, he said when Babatunde Fashola was governor he accompanied Fashola to Ladipo market to campaign.
He said some boys at the market removed the side mirror of Fashola’s official vehicle, but no action was taken against them.
