“We Are Going To Work Day And Night To Ensure That We Deliver 10 million Votes For President–Odih

The declaration was made during the group’s national inauguration ceremony, where members unveiled their organisational structure and outlined plans to mobilise support for the President across different parts of the country.

During the inauguration, leaders of the organisation explained that their decision to support President Tinubu was based on their assessment of his administration’s policies and governance approach.

According to the group, the current administration has introduced programmes and initiatives that they believe are aimed at creating opportunities for young Nigerians and increasing their participation in public affairs.

The organisation stated that its objective is to strengthen youth engagement in governance while encouraging greater involvement of young citizens in the democratic process.

The National Coordinator of the group, Rowland Odih, said the movement intends to play an active role in mobilising support for the President ahead of the next election cycle.

He explained that members of the organisation have already begun efforts to expand their presence in communities across the country through awareness campaigns, political education programmes, and grassroots engagement activities.

According to him, the group believes that sustained mobilisation at the local level will help increase political participation among young people and encourage them to become more involved in national development.

Odih also stated that the organisation has set an ambitious target of contributing significantly to the President’s electoral support base in 2027.

He noted that members of the movement are prepared to engage with communities, students, youth associations, and other stakeholders to promote civic participation and support their political objectives.

He explained that the group intends to work through various structures and networks to reach young Nigerians in both urban and rural areas.

According to him, the focus will be on encouraging constructive political engagement and strengthening awareness of government programmes.

The inauguration ceremony also featured discussions on the role of young people in shaping the future of the country.

Speakers at the event stressed the importance of youth participation in governance and decision-making processes.

They noted that young Nigerians make up a significant percentage of the population and therefore have an important role to play in determining the direction of the nation.

Participants were encouraged to take greater interest in public affairs and contribute positively to democratic development through active civic engagement.

Also speaking at the event, the Convener of the Concerned APC Members Forum and Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Renewed Hope Network, Okpokwu Ogeniyi, described the movement as evidence of increasing youth involvement in politics.

He stated that more young people are becoming interested in governance and leadership than in previous years.

According to him, this development reflects a growing awareness among youths of their responsibilities as stakeholders in the nation’s democratic process.

He added that political participation remains one of the most effective ways for citizens to contribute to national development.

Ogeniyi further argued that the current administration has provided opportunities for young people to participate more actively in government and public service.

He maintained that youth representation within various government structures has increased and that more efforts should be made to sustain that trend.

According to him, involving young people in governance helps to build leadership capacity, promote innovation, and ensure that future generations are prepared to take on greater responsibilities.

He stressed the importance of creating pathways that allow youths to contribute meaningfully to policymaking and governance.

Another major issue discussed during the event was the need to address insecurity and social challenges affecting young people.

Participants noted that unemployment, poverty, and limited opportunities often contribute to social problems in different communities.

They emphasized the importance of youth empowerment programmes, education, skills development, and community engagement as tools for reducing crime and promoting stability.

Speakers urged young Nigerians to embrace positive values and participate in initiatives that support peace, development, and national unity.
