14-Year-Old Boy Caught After Stealing Car Battery At Night; See What They Did To Him

A man’s stolen car battery has led him straight to his own thief in a twist that left his family both stunned and heartbroken, after the missing item turned up at a battery shop he wasn’t even planning to visit.

The ordeal began when he parked his car outside around 11pm and went to bed, only to wake up the next morning and find the bonnet open, his battery gone without a trace.

Shaken and wary that whoever took it might return, he reached out to his mechanic, hesitant even to buy a replacement for fear of being targeted again.

Later that evening, the two set out to a battery shop, only to find it closed and head instead to a second one nearby.

There, sitting on the floor, was his exact battery, unmistakably his own since he had written his name on it when it was first bought brand new. Confronting the seller, they were told he’d bought it from someone else, a lead that quickly led them to the real thief.

What no one expected was just how young that thief turned out to be, a boy no older than 13 or 14. Once caught, he was taken back to the scene of the crime and made to demonstrate exactly how he’d pulled it off, lying flat on the ground, reaching beneath the car, and popping the bonnet open with practiced ease, a display that left bystanders gasping in disbelief at how effortlessly a child had managed it.
