Residents of Abuja have been left in shock following the mysterious death of a young woman whose body was reportedly discovered by the roadside just hours after she left home to meet her boyfriend.

According to family members, 27-year-old Chioma Okafor was found dead under circumstances that have raised serious questions, with relatives now demanding justice and a thorough investigation into what happened during her final hours.

The tragedy reportedly unfolded after Chioma left her family home on Thursday evening, informing relatives that she was going to meet her boyfriend, Emeka Nwosu, whom she had been dating for more than a year.

Family members said they became worried when she failed to return home later that night. Their concern quickly turned into heartbreak when they allegedly received a phone call from Emeka in the early hours of the morning informing them that Chioma had died.
