Subsidy: Jonathan Did That In 2012, Tinubu Brought People To Street That Almost Led To Coup-Ogun
Former Member of the House of Representatives and chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Sergius Ogun, has criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the removal of fuel subsidy, accusing him of taking a position in government that contradicts the stance he adopted as an opposition leader during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Reacting to the Tinubu administration’s decision to remove fuel subsidy, Ogun recalled the widespread protests that followed a similar move by Jonathan’s government in 2012.
