Fagbonmire Durojaiye, one of the eight victims rescued from kidnappers in Ondo State, has recounted the dramatic moment operatives of the Amotekun Corps stormed the kidnappers’ hideout and secured their freedom after days in captivity.
Durojaiye made the revelation during an interview on TVC News, on Friday, 26 June, 2026, where he described how the rescue operation unfolded and praised the swift intervention of the regional security outfit.
His account comes amid growing concerns over kidnapping incidents in parts of Ondo State and renewed calls for stronger security measures to tackle criminal gangs operating across the region.
