Tinubu To Address Nigerians On Democracy Day
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Friday, June 12, as part of activities marking Democracy Day.
Naija News reports that the announcement was contained in a statement issued on Thursday night by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, the President’s address is scheduled to be aired at 7:00 a.m. on the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.
The Presidency said the national address would form part of the commemoration of Democracy Day.
It added that all television and radio stations across the country had been requested to hook onto the NTA and Radio Nigeria network to transmit the broadcast.
“The speech is scheduled to air on the network of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria at 7:00 a.m.,” the statement said.
“All television and radio stations are requested to hook onto the NTA and Radio Nigeria network to carry the broadcast,” it added.
The Democracy Day address is expected to focus on the state of the nation, democratic governance and other key national issues.
