Tinubu approves deployment of four permanent secretaries

President Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of four federal permanent secretaries as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across key ministries.

This is contained in a statement by Eno Olotu, director of information and public relations, office of the head of the civil service of the federation, made available to newsmen on Monday in Abuja.

The deployment, she said, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance, enhance service delivery and ensure effective policy implementation in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

She said the permanent secretaries, who emerged through a competitive selection process, would bring experience and expertise to their new roles.

According to her, the posting is designed to optimise performance, foster inter-ministerial collaboration and drive sustainable development across key sectors.

The deployed permanent secretaries and their postings are: Bekearedebo Warrens (Bayelsa State), political and economic affairs office, office of the secretary to the government of the federation, Kamil Shoretire (Ogun State), federal ministry of labour and employment.

Others are Nkiruka Jones-Nebo (Enugu State), Career Management Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and Sani Aminu (Kano State), Special Services Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

According to Olotu, Didi Walson-Jack, the head of the civil service of the federation congratulated the officials and urged them to bring their expertise to bear on their new assignments.

Olotu said Walson-Jack stressed the need for professionalism, accountability and result-oriented leadership in achieving the Federal Government’s development goals.
