Texas Roadhouse New Locations: Three Texas Restaurants Opening June 1 as Chain Raises Prices

Good news and slightly less good news for Texas Roadhouse fans in the Lone Star State. The beloved steakhouse chain is bringing four new locations to Texas this summer, but if you have been keeping an eye on your bill lately, you are not imagining things. Prices went up in April.

Where Are the New Locations?

Of the 22 Texas Roadhouse locations currently under construction nationwide, four of them are in Texas. One already opened its doors. A Bubba’s 33, which is owned by Texas Roadhouse Inc., launched in Laredo on May 11.

Three more are set to open on June 1. A Texas Roadhouse is coming to Cypress, another Bubba’s 33 is opening in Terrell, and a new Texas Roadhouse is heading to West Dallas. If you live near any of those areas, mark your calendar.

Texas Roadhouse locations typically open at 11 a.m., though hours can vary depending on the specific restaurant.

What About the Price Increase?

During Texas Roadhouse Inc.’s first-quarter earnings call for fiscal year 2026, CFO Mike Lenihan confirmed the chain raised menu prices by 1.9% at the start of the second quarter. He described it as part of a positive sales trend that carried through from Q1 into Q2.

VP of Investor Relations Michael Bailen added that the comparable sales growth the company recorded was driven by more people coming through the door, along with a 2.6% rise in average check size. He noted that the higher check prices helped cushion the impact of commodity inflation on the business.

Despite the modest price bump, the numbers suggest customers are not staying away. Traffic is up and sales are trending in the right direction, which explains why the chain feels comfortable putting shovels in the ground on 22 new locations at once.
