Spyro explains decision to cut kids out of wealth plans

Afrobeats singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro has aired his thoughts on leaving a sizeable inheritance for his children, stating that he cannot predict what they would do with it after his death.

While speaking during an interview, the singer shared his thoughts on approach to parenting, revealing that he does not subscribe to the idea of accumulating wealth solely to hand it over to his children after he is gone.

“I’m not part of the school of thought of leaving money down for children because, at the end of the day, after I’m gone, I don’t know what they will do with it,” Spyro said.

He also spoke on his music and genre choice, noting that his religion does not necessarily mean that all his songs have to be gospel songs.

“I’m a Jesus boy, but my music does not necessarily need to be Jesus music. I’m a Jesus boy because I love and serve God. I don’t necessarily need to do gospel music,” he added
