A bizarre and shocking case has emerged in Edo State after a 45-year-old woman, identified as Oluchi Ugbowan, reportedly confessed to faking her own kidnapping in a desperate attempt to raise money and settle personal debts.
According to the Edo State Police Command, Oluchi was arrested alongside three others at a hotel in the Ikpoba Hills area shortly after her family reported her missing and a ₦50 million ransom demand was allegedly made.
However, in a dramatic twist, Oluchi later admitted that she was never actually abducted. Instead, she claimed the entire incident was carefully staged and executed as a “planned drama” aimed at pressuring her family financially….... >>>>
