Daddy Freeze argued that the singer transformed what should have been a solemn, reflective ceremony into a high-energy concert. He questioned her choice of upbeat songs, noting that a funeral or service of songs requires soft, comforting music rather than a lively musical showcase.

Furthermore, the media personality questioned the inclusion of various guest artists leading worship sessions at the event. He expressed that such traditional memorial services should rely primarily on hymns to maintain a respectful and serene atmosphere.
