Ronke Oshodi-Oke breaks silence on her severe illness

Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi-Oke spoken up regarding the financial aspect of her struggles with her health, revealing that she was spending up to N800,000 monthly on medication.

The actress, while speaking during an interview on African A List, explained that the financial burden was overwhelming, disclosing that she however, received support from individuals including APC chieftain Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, and some colleagues in the movie industry.

Oshodi-Oke expressed her gratitude for the support she received, revealing that her health challenge led her to join the Celestial Church of Christ.

“Thanks to MC Oluomo and my colleagues who kept me alive today. Do you know what it means for someone to buy drugs worth N800,000 every month?. The last time Sotayo and I spoke was six years ago. But when she heard that I fell sick, she sent me N150,000. If we meet at a party, we bypass each other without greeting. It was when I was terribly sick that I joined Cele. As for me, I don’t condemn other religions,” she stated.
