Rescue Of Kidnapped Oyo Pupils, Teachers Deserves Recognition – Murray-Bruce Hails Tinubu

A former Bayelsa Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, has said the successful rescue of pupils and teachers abducted in Oyo State deserved national recognition and encouragement.

Naija News reports that Murray-Bruce’s comments followed the Presidency’s confirmation that the abducted pupils and teachers had been rescued alive during a coordinated security operation.

Reacting in a post on his verified 𝕏 handle on Friday, Murray-Bruce said the safe return of the victims underscored what could be achieved through coordinated security efforts.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to the security of Nigerians, the DSS and all the security personnel involved in the rescue operation.

He also praised National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, for coordinating the country’s security architecture, which has continued to deliver tangible results.

He wrote, “The successful rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State is a remarkable achievement and a testament to what can be accomplished when leadership, intelligence, and professionalism come together.

“I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to the security of Nigerians and offer special praise to the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, whose coordination of our security architecture continues to deliver tangible results.
