Police Confirm Appointment Of Iniedu As Force PRO To Replace Placid

The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the appointment of CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu as the new Force Public Relations Officer.

A statement on Friday, by the outgoing Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Anthony Placid, said the appointment was approved by the Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu.

He described CSP Iniedu as a seasoned police officer with extensive experience in public communication, operational policing, intelligence management, institutional accountability, and administration.

Naija News reports that the new PRO is a native of Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Pure Chemistry from the University of Uyo and has undergone several professional trainings in investigative interviewing, crime scene management, human rights-based policing, strategic communication, and intelligence analysis.
